We moved in.
Since then, the mudroom has been completed… and that’s just about all.
I’ve worked on other things… like the faux pool noodle wreath, the vintage travel poster and three refurbished Salvation Army Lamps – two for the living room and one that’s living nicely in my bedroom.
But those are all little projects. Just a few hours here and there. The big things haven’t been tackled yet.
It’s early days, though. It’s all a work in progress, but I can’t forget the rest of my life. There are other things that need my attention and time.
But the month slipping by so very quickly has just made me even more determined to get to the first floor hallway. I think Thursday night may just find me filling holes.
Little steps will get me there. And leave me with the time to savor just being here. Me, the Ogre and the Cat. Ultimately, it’s that time and the cherishing it that will make this a home. And that, as Martha would say, is a good thing!
I’d really love to see your comments on the projects I do and the ideas I have. I learn more from critiques than praise, but, honestly, I adore praise (and who doesn’t?).
Thanks for stopping by.
